The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is held twice a year and is a gateway for admission to various engineering colleges across the country, including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

The JEE Main syllabus is vast and comprehensive and covers the major subjects studied in Class 11th and 12th, such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Physics Syllabus:

The Physics syllabus for JEE Main includes topics like Units and Measurements, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Rotational Motion, Gravitation, Properties of Solids and Liquids, Thermodynamics, Kinetic Theory of Gases, Oscillations and Waves, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Electromagnetic Waves, Optics and Dual Nature of Radiation and Matter.

Chemistry Syllabus:

The Chemistry syllabus for JEE Main includes topics like Basic Concepts of Chemistry, States of Matter, Chemical Thermodynamics, Solutions, Equilibrium, Redox Reactions and Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Surface Chemistry, Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, General Principles and Processes of Isolation of Elements, Hydrogen, s-Block Elements (Alkali and Alkaline Earth Metals), p-Block Elements, d- and f-Block Elements, Co-ordination Compounds, Haloalkanes and Haloarenes, Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers, Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen, Biomolecules, Polymers, Environmental Chemistry.

Mathematics Syllabus:

The Mathematics syllabus for JEE Main includes topics like Sets, Relations and Functions, Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations, Matrices and Determinants, Permutations and Combinations, Mathematical Induction, Binomial Theorem and its Simple Applications, Sequence and Series, Limit, Continuity and Differentiability, Integral Calculus, Differential Equations, Co-ordinate Geometry, Three Dimensional Geometry, Vector Algebra, Statistics and Probability.

In conclusion, the JEE Main syllabus is comprehensive and covers a wide range of subjects. The syllabus is designed to test the student's knowledge and understanding of the subjects studied in Class 11th and 12th. It is important for students to understand the syllabus thoroughly and to prepare well in advance for the examination. Regular practice and hard work are the keys to success in JEE Main. Students are advised to consult the best study materials, practice question papers and sample papers to excel in the examination.
